About the role
ABC Teachers is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Chemistry and Applied Science Supply Teacher to start in January at our client Sixth Form College.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons in Chemistry and Applied Science to students aged 16-19.
- Support students in achieving their full potential in both academic and vocational pathways.
- Temporary position with the strong potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
- Full-time hours with flexibility as required.

Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with experience in teaching Chemistry and/or Applied Science.
- Strong knowledge of A-Level Chemistry and vocational science pathways.
- A passion for teaching and motivating students to achieve their best.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour and create a positive learning environment.
- Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
- a suitable qualification to teach Chemistry i.e PGCE, with valid QTS/QTLS
